Youth Programs & Event Sponsorship

This program is in place to sponsor activities in the communities of the targeted geographies to support, develop, and enrich the lives of the younger generation. This support may take the form of financial donation, material purchases, and/or volunteer personnel resources.

The Scholarship for Higher Education

The Kambara Quest Foundation has been actively participating in supporting and sponsoring local youth educational programs throughout our local community. This support may take the form of financial donation, material purchases, and/or volunteer personnel resources. We are proud to have supported the following entities:

Forrest Bird Charter School
NIHSAP – North Idaho High School Aviation Program
The Sandpoint Teen Center
Food for Our Children Sandpoint

Program Details

This program is in place to sponsor activities in the communities of the targeted geographies to support, develop, and enrich the lives of the younger generation. This support may take the form of financial donation, material purchases, and/or volunteer personnel resources.

– Time frame: Year-round
– The number of opportunities per year is based on the budget
– The program costs may cover youth festivals, events or programs

Purpose/Goal of Program

Financial, in-kind or volunteer resource supports to 501(c)(3) organizations supporting the development and enriching the lives of local youth in Bonner County and Boundary County, Idaho and Fukuyama, Japan

Eligibility

• Agency Directors (e.g. Teen Center, 4H, Aerospace Camp, sports teams, etc.)

Requirements criteria

• Program/project description including measurement criteria.
• Funds will be distributed annually
• Must apply year-to-year
• Agency/program/project mission and goals must align with Kambara Quest Foundation’s mission and goals
• List of previous successful projects
• Must be from Bonner County, Boundary County, Idaho or Fukuyama, Japan

Documentation needed

• Bids or invoices on costs of materials/event/resources
• Final report at end of event/program – number of youth served, accomplishments, any issues/concerns
• Images of project/program/event (pictures, videos, web links, etc) that may be used on the Kambara Quest website

• Teen Center (or other similar organizations)
• Youth Leadership groups (Kiwanis, Rotary, Boy/Girl Scouts, 4H, Strikers, etc.)

Encouraging our youth to experience cultures in other parts of the world, with the goal of broadening their perspective on other cultures and the world as a whole.
